I would describe myself as:
Initially shy but ultimately gregarious of nature. Attentive, yet not overbearing,articulate; intelligent; humorous; thoughtful; a man's man.I try to be well mannered at all times........I have and continue to travel extensively both socially and on business. I enjoy meeting people from all walks and cultures of life at all levels. I could be described as 'well traveled'(seen the world a few times);.......I have lived previously in Southern Africa; all parts of the UK and Ireland. I used to play rugby to a high standard in my younger years so I have the build! Then I took up golf when I lived in Johannesburg. A friend then introduced me to marlin fishing. After that all other sports paled to insignificance. I have safaried through Africa; fished the Zambezi; climbed Table mountain; met Mandela; explored South America; toured the US and more. My favorite cities are Paris: Rome: Cape Town: Chicago: Rio & Beunos Aries. I enjoy historic architecture; major art galleries: new destinations: good food and breath gasping natural wonders........As for food; I will try anything once... you really don't want to know some of the ridiculous things that I have tried.........I own a fast fishing boat for recreational deep sea angling (it takes a good deal of my time). I occasionally play golf these days. I watch many different sports; my favorite would be rugby. I enjoy good food with good company. Love movies. I also enjoy a few beers.........As far as music is concerned; I used to have a mobile disco back in the 70s; Covered all genres of music.I have been fortunate to have seen all the major bands; Floyd. Zep. The Who. Stones to name but a few. As my tastes developed I have found an (uninitiated) love for the opera and classical music as well as retaining my original favorites. I cannot abide (C)rap or techno.........A sample from my bucket list would be an Opera at La Scala in Milan; Rugby world cup final in Sydney; A swim with whale sharks off the coast of Mozambique. My ideal partner would be:
Attractive; intelligent; open; A lady that I could be very proud of.

My ideal date would be:
Ideal or first? There is a massive difference.........I would love to take a lovely lady to dinner.Perhaps share some wine. If all of that works, then do it again...
