I would describe myself as:
Wanting to return to Europe to live. I'm there now for two or three months.I am retired from financial and accounting management within the international energy industry and I travel to Europe quite often. Having gone to school in County Kildare, worked in Amsterdam, and grown up in Germany and France, I want to return to Europe to live. I've already sold my house. I will be in Europe in March (for two or three months) and I would travel anywhere to meet you. At 65, I may be a little old for some of you but it might be fun to just meet for coffee or wine when I am there. It never hurts just to make new friends. I love to travel and I try to visit Europe as much as I can. My primary hobby is photography I enjoy being out doors with nature and also spending quiet evenings with wine and a fire. I like all types of music, films, reading, theater, concerts, restaurants and entertaining friends. I do like to cook for others but not for myself. When I travel I try to stay in small towns long enough to learn something about the people and culture. I try to learn things that tourists do not see. Learning and enjoying new things in life are critical to me.

My ideal partner would be:
My ex-wife of 31 years died several years ago and I believe that I have since discovered what true love means and what was lost. I have known the heights of sincere and trusting love, and I have known the emptiness and despair from the absence of that love. It is important to regain that sense of mutually comforting love with someone who can value it as much as I do. It is important for me to find a woman who wants a serious relationship with truth, trust, commitment, communication, joy, appreciation, and affection. I love, desire and need the company of a woman who enjoys sharing herself and her life, and who enjoys intellectual and personal intimacy.
