I would describe myself as:
A little quirky and quite serious with a surprising sense of humour; believe me, its there if you look! I tend to be hardworking but can party if let loose. Very into swimming, reading, travelling, cinema,quiet evenings in and conversations with people with a story to tell. I may seem superficially robust, but have a sensitive inclination. I also like some intensity, but please, I also need space!

My ideal partner would be:
She would need a sense of humour as I can be a little eccentric - not in a bad way mind you. Ideally, a sensitive and supportive girl would be a bonus as I sometimes need reassurance that the sky won't fall on my head! If she could make me laugh, that would be a bonus. I would love someone who was quite fitness oriented, but not a fanatical calorie-burner. Alo, I appreciate broad-minded people, but if she's too politically correct we would end up fighting a lot! I love somebody with an opinion, and throw in some vulnerability - that's never a bad thing, so I don't mind if she's a little emotional, but not a drama queen - I have too many of those at work!!

My ideal date would be:
A quiet restuarant with a warm open fire, good food and honest conversation - followed by a walk and stargazing pehaps?
